Our Story
Since its creation, the All Star Foundation hosts many annual fundraisers and continues to embrace additional beneficiaries to better support our community and beyond. Here’s some of our history:
Children’s Hospital New Orleans
We recently announced our commitment of $250,000 over the next 5 years to Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana, and plan to make that our next big fundraising campaign.
Hog of Fame
The Swine & Dine Hogs Fest team was officially inducted into the Hog of Fame for its substantial donations over the previous 4 years.
Heart Gift
Heart Gift’s mission is to provide life-saving congenital heart defect surgery to children from around the world where specialized medical treatment is either scarce or nonexistent. The All star foundation started it’s sponsorship of two boys journey, Juan Carlos and Pierre.
Grand Isle Slam
The All Star Foundation creates another fundraiser called the Grand Isle Slam. The Grand Isle slam is a fishing tournament where the two goals are to raise money, and catch a grand slam!
1st Annual Jazz Luncheon
Through our partnership with Galatoire’s Restaurant in New Orleans, we were able to start our second annual major fundraiser, a New Orleans style Luncheon at Galatoire’s.
Swine & Dine
The All Star Foundation community creates the Swine & Dine team into the Hogs Fest cookoff competition in New Orleans to help raise money to fight pediatric brain cancer
Casa Bethesda Expansion
Our biggest benefactor to date, we initiated and supported the building of an kitchen complex outside the facility, as well as redoing the bathrooms and existing infrastructure
1st Annual Fall Golf Classic
Every fall, we have been raising money for various foundations and other groups with a “classic” golf tournament

We were born out of an appreciation for the blessings we have in life, and the desire to help others achieve them as well
